Scholarship Loan Incentive Program (SLIP)
The Scholarship Loan Incentive Program was created by the Robert H. Mollohan Family Charitable Foundation in 2002 to further provide assistance that will help encourage talented West Virginia students to enter a career within their home state by offering loans at favorable terms with the option of debt forgiveness. Loans are made payable directly to the student and the college for the use of tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses approved by the Foundation. In order to be eligible, you must be a Mollohan scholar with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 who demonstrates financial need.

The borrower will have up to six months from the date of graduation to find employment in West Virginia before the loan repayment begins. However, if the student fails to work in West Virginia after college, the student will be required to repay the borrowed amount plus interest.
To be eligible, the following requirements must be met:
- Must have attended high school in West Virginia
- Must be a recipient of a Foundation scholarship
- Must demonstrate financial need
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
