Scholarship Loan Incentive Program (SLIP)

The Scholarship Loan Incentive Program was created by the Robert H. Mollohan Family Charitable Foundation in 2002 to further provide assistance that will help allow students to work in West Virginia after graduating from college.  The purpose of the program is to encourage talented West Virginia students to enter a career within their home state by offering loans at favorable terms with the option of debt forgiveness.  Loans are made payable directly to the student and the college for the use of tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses approved by the Foundation.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a recipient of one of the following scholarships from the Robert H. Mollohan Family Charitable Foundation: High Technology Scholars Program, Mid-Atlantic Aerospace Scholarship, Mary Olive Eddy Jones Art Scholarship, Martha Stuart Oden Scholarship, Helen Holt Mollohan Scholarship.

  • Must demonstrate financial need

  • Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
