Mary Olive
Eddy Jones is a much-loved 91-year-old nationally recognized
artist from Fairmont, West Virginia. Mrs. Jones was a kindergarten teacher in Fairmont for over 30
years. Mrs. Jones
loved teaching and always enjoyed teaching art to her
students. She has created many different types of artwork over her
lifetime including Scherenschnitte Paper Cuttings and
watercolor paintings. In
honor of her talent and artwork, the Robert H. Mollohan Family
Charitable Foundation, Inc. will offer
$1,000 art
scholarships to West Virginia college students.
