What is a Mollohan Mini-Grant?
A Mollohan Mini-grant is designed to offer a small grant to community nonprofits or groups that need a little help with special projects and initiatives. Applications from individuals will not be considered. Please do not submit requests for annual campaign contributions or general fundraisers.

Who can apply for a Mollohan Mini-Grant?
The Mollohan Mini-Grant is available to any non-profit organization or group. Groups that are not non-profit organizations may apply; however, it will be at the discretion of the Community Outreach Committee to determine the eligibility of these groups.

What are the application deadlines?
Applications are reviewed quarterly. The deadlines are March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31.

What is the maximum amount of money that I can apply for through the Mollohan Mini-grant?
The maximum amount is $500.

How do I apply for a Mollohan Mini-Grant?
In order to be considered for a mini-grant, you will be required to fill out an application and submit all requested paperwork. Applications can be requested from our office at 304.333.6783 or download from our website.

Can I apply for more than one mini-grant in a year?
No, only one mini-grant application per organization will be considered in any given calendar year.

If I receive funding for my project, can I apply for a mini-grant for the same project next year?
Yes, you may apply for the mini-grant again the following year, but please be aware that the Foundation does not guarantee the funding will be awarded each year.
