Kids’ Chance of West Virginia Receives Grant

Located in Charleston, Kids’ Chance of West Virginia is a non-profit scholarship fund which grants educational scholarships to the sons and daughters of West Virginia residents who suffered a serious, catastrophic, or fatal workplace injury or illness. Scholarships can be used to continue or further education at the secondary, post-secondary, career, or professional levels. The scholarships are administered by The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation which will consider the applicant’s aptitude and achievement tests, financial needs, letters of reference, motivation, character, and ability.

The Mollohan Foundation grant will be used by Kids’ Chance to provide scholarships to two West Virginia students as chosen by The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation.
